Mount Lorette
A minor peak on the west side of Hwy. 40 just north of the Nakiska Ski Area, Lorette is a striking blade of limestone when viewed from the right angle. Most of the climbing involves low-level scrambling, and rewards the climber with airy positions. A great peak when one has only half a day to make an ascent.

Name Notes: It was named in 1922 after The Lorette Spur, a ridge which was north of Vimy Ridge and was the scene of heavy fighting during World War I.
