Mount Bate Northwest Aspect from Mount Alava
Located SE of the big lake, and the highest point. A prominent mountain with triangular contours, with a steep drop on its northwest side into the lake.

Name Notes: The label for Mount Bate is in a different position on BC Basemap than on the 1:50K. On BC Basemap, the label is on the highest point, whereas on the 1:50K, the label is on a subpeak less than 1 km to the southeast. This encyclopedia agrees with BC Basemap, with Mount Bate being the highest peak. On Basemap, the main peak has a height of 1688m, and the subpeak has a height of 1598m.
