This peak is #3 on the Height List for Nunavut . This peak is #4 in Prominence List for Nunavut .Located south of the Beitstad Glacier, and north of the Stygge Glacier. The peak is shown on the 1:250K maps as a spot height of 7700'. It is the highest point on the massive icefield south of Sverdrup Pass, and probably the second highest peak on all of Ellesmere Island, second only to Barbeau Peak, which is at the north end of the island. The peak is entirely covered with ice, right to the summit and there is no rock visible for at least 20 km in every direction. North of the peak is the Beitstad glacier, which flows into Beitstad Fiord.
