At the northwest end of the Adamant Group this peak ends the ridge crest. Colossal is a massive granitic peak with four summits, all of which are within a few meters height of each other. Additionally, there are two impressive towers on the (unclimbed in mid-2004) NW ridge. Routes on Colossal range from 4th class ridges and glaciers to very hard climbs such as the SW face route Flight of the Prototype which is one of the technically most difficult alpine free climbs in Canada (10 pitches, IV/V 5.12c/d)

Name Notes: Named by Bill Putnam for his business "Colossal Enterprises."
