This peak is #8 in Prominence List for Yukon Territory .Alsek Peak is located just north of the BC-Yukon border. It's the second highest point of the Alsek Ranges and the highest point between the Tatshenshini and Alsek rivers. It's a steep, dramatic pyramid surrounded by several large glaciers. She shortest access is via an old mining road that crosses a pass northeast of the summit.
