Located on the southern portion of Eagle Ridge at the head of Buntzen Creek. Eagle Mountain is one of several tree covered summits between Buntzen and Coquitlam Lakes. There is a network of trails along the top of the ridge to various viewpoints, between Eagle mountain and Tangled Summit. The actual summit of Eagle mountain is covered with large trees (open forest). There is no trail to the actual summit. However the summit can be reached fairly easily from the trail with a short climb through open forest. There are hiking trails from Buntzen Lake to various viewpoints and summits.
