Name Notes: Ralph ("Rafe") was active in the BCMC from the 1950s into the 1970s and remained a member until his death some years ago. He made some dozen first ascents, among them Raleigh, Compton and Toba, Tisiphone (all in the Coast Mtns) and Mt Harrison in the Rockies. He was also on the first Canadian ascent of Denali. Rafe was a lawyer by profession and later a Superme Court of BC judge. The summit has decent view of some of his best first ascents, including Mt Raleigh.
