Located 3 km W of headwaters of Peters Creek. This peak has a huge cliff on the eastern face, which drops into Peters Creek.

Name Notes: Named according to the wild animal noises of the area. (Roaring, etc)


1. South Ridge from Roaring Creek From near headwaters of Roaring Creek, climb up and over ridge, past 2 lakes to get into McConnell Creek drainage. Then north through high country to just south of peak, and climb via S ridge.
2. South Ridge From McConell Creek From trail up Red Deer river, bushwack 9 km up McConnell Creek, and then another 5 km above treeline to a camp just south of the peak. Climb peak via south ridge. Distance: 14 km AvgTime: 2 days
