Located upstream of Seton Lake.. One of two large lakes which drain the northern half of the Cayoosh Range. FtrHistory: This lake was named for Hudson's Bay Company explorer Alexander Caulfield Anderson (1814-1884). He is the one who named Birkenhead Peak and Birkenhead River in honor of his boyhood friend Lt Col Seton, who went down on the Birkenhead in January 1852.
