A red A-frame shelter for 3-4 people, for emergency use only (completely rebuilt in Sept. 2008). No wood stove. The hut is situated on a knoll above Brunswick Lake at el. 1255m, adjacent to the Howe Sound Crest trail.

This might be an easy fix if the door hinge screws have come loose. Lifting the door slightly and tightening the screws may solve the problem.
2012.08.18 Martin Ortmayr - Shelter door latch is out of alignment
The door to the shelter will not latch shut. The rod on the door is a few mm too low to fit into the socket on the door frame. I guess the solution would be to lower the socket a bit. The door itself opens and closes fine.
