In the old days, all cars had standard roof gutters, and thus roof racks were not specific to any given car. But now days, cars have no standard attachment points. Every one is different. Therefore if you want roof racks, you have to buy at least some parts that are specific to your model of car. The price is about $500.00 for a minimal system with 2 load bars and 4 feet.
