Stephen Skog killed in boating accident #2386


(With material from a Globe and Mail article by Mark Hume, June 25, 2008) editor and contributor, Stephen Skog, and his brother James, died this past weekend after a suspected boating accident. The bodies of Stephen and James were discovered by a hiker at Rouse Lake, about halfway between Merritt and Kelowna. In an interview on, their sister, Karen Crerar, said that her brothers were highly experienced outdoorsmen who would often go on trips into the wild for extended periods. Both led private lives and never bragged about their outdoor adventures. A RCMP
