A lot of the big news outlets have reported on the recent rerouting of the Kaskalwush Glacier meltwaters up in the Yukon: (Guardian article).
In this article they mention this is the first "river piracy" event recorded in modern history; but I imagine someone has seen similar changes in BC/Alberta/Washington over the years? I know I've read Ape Lake went from draining into Ape Creek to flowing into the Noeick River sometime in the last few decades. Saw something similar on a very small scale at Cream Lake in Strathcona a couple years ago.
