Distance prefixes for Spur Names
Complete List of all Changes
Change Id: 612 Written: 2018.11.29

For the past few years, I have been gradually evolving the spur names in bivouac by putting "distance prefixes" on some of them. For example, "M13.2 Skookum Creek Road" means it branches off Mamquam main at km 13.2. The advantage of putting the distance prefix onto the name is so when you see a bulletin you immediately have some idea of how far up the road we are talking.

I recently overhauled the naming scheme for all the spur roads off the Squamish/Elaho. Each name is prefixed with a "distance prefix" so readers can more immediately know which road somebody is talking about. See Standard Spur Names - Distance Prefixes.
