Parent Area: BC Interior Mountains
Area: 5455 sq km.
Location: Defined in Holland as lying west of the headwaters of the Tuya River, that boundary has been set here as the Ash-Butte Pass just NW of Tuya Lake. It may be that Ash Mountain and the Tuya Range, ie. the area lying west of the Cottonwood River and Parallel Creek, is meant to be included, but that considerably more mountainous area has been assigned here to the Stikine Ranges. Similarly, the northward boundary may be meant to include some of the low ranges north of the Jennings River, but that is not clear in Holland so has been ascribed here to the Stikine Ranges.
Includes: Atsutla Range, Kawdy Mountain, Nazcha Hills
