Seymour Range (Shuswap)
Parent Area: Shuswap Highland

Area: 1006 sq km. Location: This narrow (but in places very high and alpine) range is one of two in BC named for the successor to Sir James Douglas. This one is located between the Adams River, on the west, and the Seymour River, on the east, in the area north of Shuswap lake.

The other Seymour Range is much lower and non-alpine in character, and is located between Cowichan Lake and the San Juan River on Vancouver Island.
