Tuya Range

Area: 776 sq km. Location: The Tuya Range is in the Stikine Ranges near the Yukon border. It lies north of Tuya Lake at the head of the Tuya River. On the north it is drained by Parallel Cr

Both sides are drained by tributaries of the Cottonwood River (Dease River, which flows into the Liard River and Great Slave Lake.

Terrain: The boundary starts at the pass between the Jennings River and Parallel Creek, then follows Parallel Creek down History: A "tuya" is a flat-topped, steep-sided volcano. See notes on Kawdy Mountain.
