Fannin Range
Parent Area: Pacific Ranges

Area: 211 sq km. Location: The Fannin Range lies between the Seymour River and Indian Arm/Indian River. Terrain: Most peaks in the range are barely above tree line. The adjoining valleys were once covered in dense rain forest, but over a period of a hundred years much of the original trees have been cut down and replaced with second growth. The southern portion of the range is heavily used by local skiers and hikers, offering great views of Greater Vancouver. By contrast, the northern part is rarely visited.
