Caren Range (Spipiyus Provincial Park)
Parent Area: Sechelt Peninsula Area

Area: 151 sq km.A low and mostly tree covered range running north-south along the western shore of Sechelt Inlet, and east of Maderia Park and north of Halfmoon bay. It contains Spipiyus Provincial Park.

Terrain: A low plateau (3500') covered with small lakes and tree covered microterrain. It is noted for some of the oldest Yellow Cedar trees in Canada. It protects pockets of old-growth forest, prime habitat for the marbled murrelet.
