Mount Adams, the second highest mountain in Washington State, is a strato-volcano surrounded by 10 glaciers. It is part of the Cascade Range, a mountain chain that stretches from northern California to southern British Columbia and contains many volcanos. From the south, the summit is an easy ski ascent.
