This peak is #12 on the Height List for Newfoundland and Labrador . This peak is #39 in Prominence List for Newfoundland and Labrador . This peak is #3 on the Height List for Quebec . This peak is #4 in Prominence List for Quebec . Located in the Torngat Mountains on the divide between the Palmer River and the Koroc River. This is a large massif with many ridges. Access is by boat to the head of Tallek Arm and the mouth of Palmer River. Hike upstream along the Palmer River for about 8.5 km to the big bend. Follow a branch valley due south to a pass. Curl clockwise to the south slopes. Climb the easternmost of the three ridges to the summit. No technical difficulty.

Name Notes: Named after Susan Barnes and Daniel Pauze who both died descending Mount Caubvick in a snow storm on August 11, 2003. It was named by the seach party who found their bodies one year after the accident.
