Mount Alverstone
This peak is #14 on the Height List for Alaska . This peak is #13 on the Height List for Yukon Territory . Mount Alverstone is located on a north-south trending ridge system that straddles the Yukon-Alaska border and includes Mount Hubbard. The north slopes and then the upper west buttress are the easiest way to climb the mountain. Approach from the Dusty Glacier and gain The Great Shelf Glacier via a 3500-m col to reach the north side of the mountain.
