This peak is #88 in Prominence List for Montana . A large mountain located between the headwaters of Quartz and Logging Creeks, just W of the Continental Divide. The Vulture Glacier lies in the basin below the S face and is one of the larger ones in Glacier National Park. The Two Ocean Glacier lies below the N face and feeds into Gyrfalcon Lake.
Carnelian Cliff is the official name for the lower portion of the steep N face.
