This peak is #92 on the Height List for Colorado . This peak is #39 in Prominence List for Colorado . East Beckwith Mountain is ironically located in the West Elk Mountains of western Colorado. The standard approach is via a road-accessible campground to the north where a trail leads to Lost Lake. South of the lake, the southeast ridge can be gained by climbing up the headwall of an attractive basin. Follow the southeast ridge to the summit.
