This peak is #80 on the Height List for Idaho . This peak is #47 in Prominence List for Idaho . Meade Peak is the highest summit of Snowdrift Mountain, which comprises the bulk of the Preuss Range. All subpeaks listed are formally part of Snowdrift Mountain, a NNE-SSW ridge that is approximately 12-13km long. Only a few subpeaks in the vicinity of Meade Peak have been charted, all but one to the north of Meade (the southern one may not technically be part of Snowdrift Mtn); with Meade, the northern subpeaks comprise the highest part of the ridge forming Snowdrift Mountain, which forms part of the divide between the Great Basin (E) and the Columbia Basin (W). A pack trail runs along a long ridge north of the summit. The summit is an easy off-trail walk from the trail.
